Clove: excellent Antifungal. Tinea is a fungus that likes to grow on the human body, its name changes based on where it grows. Clove can be used to address this, however, the fungus will react and try to eliminate which causes the area to get very hot. Use clove with a carrier oil to address heat. Other products are better for sensitive areas. Close to 1/3 of the residents of Florida have fungal infections of the feet, those lines and tracks white and sometimes brown are not natural age cracking. Soak feet in water with a few drops of clove, the fungus will die and your feet will take on their natural form.

Oregano: excellent anti-streptococcal. These bacteria favor water environments such as the mouth and throat. This oil can get hot on the sensitive lips if applied directly. Use with a carrier oil, in a watery rinse or under the toothpaste.

Lemongrass: excellent anti-staphylococcal. This bacteria favors a dry environment and tolerates salt such as skin surfaces. Ever hear of MRSA? Lemongrass can also be placed over insect bites such as mosquitoes and will kill the bacteria within the bite. Your body will appreciate you and remove the bubble and blemish much sooner. Ginger & Bergamot: excellent anti-Hpylori and cDiff. These bacteria favor low oxygen internal environments of the digestive track.

TeaTree: excellent all anti-bacterial. While useful for many applications, this oil is indiscriminate and will kill good bacteria as well. It often kills without the “Hot” reaction that other oils have. Do not swallow.

Juniper Berry: anti-bacterial for the Urinary track.

Citronella: Mosquitos and flying insects do not like this oil. This oil does not act like DDT or paraphing, and is not an environmental toxin. In the Peruvian Jungle I managed to get far fewer bites by a ratio of almost 100:1 than my biology teachers and group mates who refused to use any insect repellent. The shaman guide shared a local plant when rubbed on the skin that performed the same function.

Cedarwood: This oil is practical in the home. It has many useful properties that overlap with other oils mentioned. Unique in this list is Cedarwood’s property as an insect repellant. Ants, termites, ticks just about any insect that invades your home does not like this oil. If their feet cross this on the way to theT nest the nest will pack up and leave.

Lavendar: The first oil I recommend if you only wish to try one is lavender, a versatile oil with many health uses.. Its anti-inflammatory and pain mitigation effects are incredible. It relieves joint pain. It can complement massage and loosen tight muscles. It promotes appropriate collagen production. It helps hydrate tissue and can be used in part of facial skin care. Its anti-microbial effects can be used to disinfect cuts, fight acne, mitigate stings, and kill the microbes from mosquito bites. Lavendar can be used before bed for better sleep and rest. It helps calm the body and fight free radicals, reducing stress and anxiety while improving mood. The link reference mentions many more uses that include PMS, hair growth, respiratory conditions.

Any Citrus Oil: Culinary delight. Use just a drop and add to the dish or bar-b-que that calls for a zest of citrus flavor. You planned on using lemon, lime or orange juice or peel but your fruit is spoiled and the artificial juice is filled with so many toxins it gives you headaches when you use it. Citrus oils do not spoil, they provide superb natural flavor, phytochemicals your body uses and they contain zero preservatives or toxins.

Final Notes: Make sure to buy 100% Pure Essential Oil, Therapeutic Grade. Paying for brand name is much less important than 100% purity.
