Dr. Michael Cox founded Insight Chiropractic and owns it with Ana Cox. He treats patients alongside Dr. Christopher Fencl and Dr. Lane Odom. Between them, the doctors practice several styles of chiropractic because, as Dr. Cox says, every patient needs a different type of chiropractic. Dakota Fragoso manages the office, and Beverly Brooks, a retired registered nurse, is our chiropractic and sports medicine assistant. You will find a friendly and courteous staff and a professional but comfortable atmosphere. We also see patients who want a second evaluation or a second opinion.

Dr. Michael D. Cox, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic and Co-Founder

He is a cum laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, and chiropractic is his second career. After an injury, three doctors and a chiropractor told him he would not walk unassisted again. He was a vice president at Bank of New York Mellon at the time.

He recovered in eighteen months through Tai Chi, Chi Gong, eastern rehabilitation, nutrition and exercise, then went back to school. A year of biological science, a period studying in the Peruvian Amazon, then Palmer, so he could do the same thing for other people.

Dr. Christopher Fencl, D.C.

Activator and Upper Cervical Chiropractor

Dr. Chris Fencl grew up in Overland Park, KS. While a teenager, his mother introduced chiropractic care to him and his family after she began receiving it to treat her chronic migraines. Though initially skeptical, upon seeing her migraines practically disappear after only a few months of treatment, Dr. Chris began chiropractic care himself as a wellness patient. Through years of consistent care Dr. Chris became convinced of chiropractic's effectiveness in improving his own health and well-being.

Dr. Chris studied at the University of Notre Dame and later served seven years as a Naval submarine officer. After completing his military service, he pursued graduate studies in philosophy and worked in military consulting in Washington, D.C. During this time, he began receiving chiropractic adjustments from a chiropractor using the AdVo and Activator Method techniques.

Dr. Lane Odom, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Originally from Colquitt, Georgia, Dr. Odom grew up playing tennis and running cross country, earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Georgia Southwestern State University, and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange in March 2025.

He specializes in rehabilitation and active care, and his philosophy is education over dependence: teach people to understand and care for their own bodies, so they are in control of the pain rather than the other way around. Off the clock he competes in pickleball at the advanced level.
